Immigrant English Teachers in Macau Universities

This book explores the lived experiences of skilled migrant academics in Macau’s evolving higher education sector. Through qualitative interviews with teachers born in Macau, internal migrants from Mainland China, and immigrants from the Philippines, the book examines how educators negotiate professional and personal identities in a city shaped by colonial legacies, rapid development, and complex migration flows.
